Q: What do I do with the cake after I receive it?

A: We ship your cakes frozen. We also use gel paks and wrap in a special double insulated mylar foil to keep cold. If the cakes arrive and the gel paks are already melted, that’s ok..  the cakes are still good.  Product should be cool/cold to the touch.  Put them in the freezer or refrigerator right away. The cakes will last for 7 days in the refrigerator.  

Q: Can I refreeze the cakes?

A: The cheesecakes arrive frozen and you can freeze them for up to 6 months at (0 degrees F).  

Q: How should I serve the cake?

A: Cheesecakes are best served chilled.  To avoid condensation defrost your 7" unwrapped cake on the counter for 1 - 2 hours before serving or you can also refrigerate overnight.   Our large 10" cakes will take about 5 to 6 hours to defrost or 24 hours in the refrigerator.  Serve and Enjoy!!

Q: What’s the best way to cut the cheesecake?

A: Use a filet knife (thin, longer blade) and cut straight down.  You can rinse the knife off with hot water in between each cut for a better outcome.  Wipe the knife with a damp towel in between each slice to create a smooth cut.
